About this base
The Hybrid Unit is the best-of-both base: lace across the top and crown where breathability matters most, bordered by a thin-skin perimeter that gives you a clean, strong tape or adhesive surface all the way round. The scalloped front edge blends into the forehead without a visible line, and the skin sides and back stand up to repeated removals far better than lace alone. If you want more comfort than full skin and more durability than full lace, this is the unit.
